Wild Island Resorts

Newsletter January 1st 2006

Amy & I hope you enjoy receiving notice of upcoming events, updates, and pictures from Abaco-we wish you were here!

On November 1st '05 we were very fortunate to bring Wellington Pinder into the Wild Island Resorts family. He has redefined the word maintenance and brings a great knowledge of the area & its history, as he was born in HopeTown & schooled in London. He is also an avid weather buff so you'll always get the latest update.

We are grateful for the opportunity, through this newsletter, to be able to share with all of you the progress taking place at Sea Level. We are 'refining' all of the cottages this coming year. The first cottage on the list was Clearwater . There are now more outlets & lights throughout the cottage, the fans are controlled with switches-no more frustrating pull chains-and new windows installed. The cottage will also be fully air conditioned by June. Now, for all of our guests who enjoy the natural "open air" feel, as we do, don't worry...we've thought of you, too. We installed jalousie windows, so the full window space opens to let the breeze in, and there are still Bahama shutters to shade the opening. So now, either way you like it, you will be happy!

In November 05' the dock area was rebuilt using thatch- keeps you nice & cool......

Well that's all for now......we hope to see you soon!
