We welcomed a young couple from Mobile into Pigeon Plum Cottage at Lubbers' Landing on Oct. 8th. They were here to celebrate their honeymoon so Congratulations to them and we wish them a long and happy life together. Not much goes on here in October-it's a perfect time to come down and "get away from it all" - so Amy decided to liven things up a little and have a dinner party.

Let me tell you, after a hard day of lying on the beach, snorkeling, and having to be out there in the boat lifting those ice cold beers (it's no picnic), everyone was in need of a little R&R. Bob added to the menu with a great eating Hog Snapper...

Let the grilling begin!!

Of course everyone thinks they're a grilling professional... the girls making sure it all goes well.

The final results... Amy's new pineapple recipe she got from Sandra Lee came out great!! Needless to say, everything was delicious and we all went to bed full and happy. If you would like to try this recipe, you can find it on Sandra Lee's website. I will even give you the link: Recipe

(which is actually from the foodnetwork site as you can see) although for the freshly caught that evening hog snapper, I think you will have to come here)!!!
