Lubbers' Quarters is an island about three miles long and 3/4 of a mile wide at it's widest point. Lubbers' Quarters sits in what could be called the "hub of Abaco" as we are right in the middle of everything the area has to offer. Development on the island consists of mainly private vacation rental homes and quaint beach cottages. There is one restaurant/bar on the island , Cracker P's and Wild Island Resorts has two locations: Sea Level Cottages and Lubbers' Landing .

Within fifteen minutes from our docks on Lubbers Quarters, you can, by boat, pull into the harbours of Hope Town, Man-O-Way Cay, Guana Cay, Marsh Harbour, or Little Harbour ( home of Pete's Pub and Johnson Studios ). There are many restuarants, bars, giftstores, museums and places of historical value, or just that speacail bench with that stunning island view. We will list, by island, the places here in Abaco that have web sites on the side bar on the right ( to local businesses... if you see that we have left you out, and you have a link add, please feel free to contact us.)
For those active vacationers Abaco, Bahamas offers a wide range of fun island activities. Fishing whether it be offshore or light tackle inshore for snapper or Bonefish the Abacos is one of the worlds premier destinations for the traveling fisherman. If diving or snorkeling sounds fun Abaco has two national marine parks, Pelican Cay Land and Sea Park, and Fowl Cay Marine preserve , both have excellent underwater life to explore. There are several great dive operators that can guide you through these natural wonders ( see sidebar ) or you can pick up a great local guide book and enjoy a personal adventure.
